Here’s a tip for your foundation, for any occasion. Actually- it’s two in one!
The first one is this- when you put your foundation on before you put your make up on, include your eyelids and your lips. It provides a perfect base coat for eyeshadow and will make your lipstick and eyeshadow last a little longer.
And then, you know how sometimes you see a woman wearing foundation and it quite literally ends at her jaw line? I was always taught that that was a no-no, and that you should blend it down into your neck as well.
I’ve taken it a little further. If I am wearing something with a lovely neckline, I will go so far as to wear foundation over my cleavage as well. It hides freckles, sun burn, stretch marks and veins- if like me your cleavage is milk-white
The foundation will rub off on the inside of your clothes a little so you’ll need to remember that, but as long as no-one else can see it that doesn’t worry me.
