Are you battling to pick a colour scheme? Are you curious to see if two colours will work together? Well, if you go to Idee Multicolr, you can choose up to 10 colours to combine and it selects pictures off Flickr to give you a gawjiss collage, and you can choose from several collages per combination!
I found it on my friend Tanya’s blog, which she started in order to share her wedding planning adventures, and I had so much fun with this little online toy!!
When I chose my red and purple colour scheme, lots of people simply couldn’t imagine the two together until I Googled some pictures and posted them for others to see it can work. Now you can try out combinations and share them using Twitter or Facebook directly from Multicolr!

I know its a crazy idea, but I like it.

If you would like to attend our wedding on 24th July 2010- and you didn’t already get an invitation- here’s your chance!
As most people know, we have asked for a donation to ADHASA- a very personal cause and close to my heart- in lieu of wedding gifts. So now, all you need do is make a donation into my nephew Nathan’s fund as a raffle entry, and one month before the wedding I will pick 3 entries who will then get 2 seats at our wedding and get to celebrate with us!
Leave me a comment with a proper email address, and I’ll send you the banking details!!!
Your donation will not have an influence on whether I add your name to the draw at all, and it will not be made public either. You must include your name as a reference on the donation and obviously you must send me the details as well so I can get hold of you.
And of course, any and all arrangements to get to the wedding in Midrand, place to stay, transport, etcetera will be for you to take care of too.

But a raffle!
Remember the crazy idea I had a while ago? Well, I was thinking about it, and I discussed it with my Glugster and my mommy darling, and although an auction still appeals to me- I don’t have a guarantee of getting the money to the charity once the “prize” has been announced… so I’m going to do a raffle instead.

This way, you “buy” an entry into the raffle- for two seats at our wedding- by paying money into the account of a cause I specify and sending me the proof of payment!
How’s that!!?!
The raffle winners will then be chosen randomly from those entries!
I’ve decided to put two double seats up for grabs, and not only will you be helping out an excellent cause, but you’ll be attending the wedding of the year!
And you never know… you may even get to meet some celebrities, bloggerati or twitterati there!!

This Sunday coming, weather permitting (oh please please please don’t let it rain, as much as I adore the wet weather), my Glugs and I will be doing our engagement photoshoot with the inimitable Jeanette Verster!
Inspired by the awesomeness of the engagement shoots showcased on Rock ‘n Roll Bride, I have decided to go all out and make our shoot “themed” and fun!
There will be cupcakes.
There will be laptops.
There will be dancing.
Lets just hope we can pull it off and it all comes together in the photos… Who knows, perhaps we can even get Rock ‘n Roll Bride to post about our photoshoot!!

It’s totally insane- but every time I think about it, it makes me smile! This is usually an indication for me, personally, that something is a good idea…
okay okay, you can stop smirking and shaking your head at me now.
What do you think about me putting a couple of seats at our wedding- four at most- on auction, with the money going to a charity like
ADHASA or
Bosom Buddies, or a cause we support like “Lent For Liam”?
Is it complete and utter vanity to assume people may actually want to be there “badly” enough to bid on seats- or do you think it may be a fun thing to do for a good cause? Is it too risky in that we may end up with a couple of crackpots in those seats?
I know it may sound completely narcissistic, and my mommy darling literally gaped at me and then hosed herself when I told her what I was thinking… but it really appeals to me!
Of course, if I do decide to go ahead with it, it’ll only happen after I’ve sent out the official invitations so that the people who are already invited don’t have to bid- although they’re welcome to do so anyway!
What are your thoughts?
